Invited talks are in Prentice Building 42-115 and contributed talks are in parallel sessions in Priestley Building 67-141, 67-142, 67-342 and 67-343, see the map at the bottom of the page. for the locations of all relevant lecture theatres/rooms on campus.


Welcome Reception (4-6pm, Sun 6th Dec)

A welcome reception with drinks and snacks will be held from 4-6pm on Sunday 6th December in Priestley Building, 67-2SLC (Mathematics Building), see map below. Conference packs, including abstract booklets, can be collected at the reception.


CMSA Annual General Meeting (5-5:30pm, Mon 7th Dec)


The Annual General Meeting of the Combinatorial Mathematics Society of Australasia (CMSA) will be held at 5pm on Monday 7th December in Building 67-141 (see map below). Conference participants become members of CMSA for 2016 and are encouraged to attend the AGM.


Public Lecture (5:30-6:30pm, Tue 8th Dec)

A public lecture , entitled "What is a research mathematician?" will be given by Professor Jonathan Jedwab (Simon Fraser University) at 5:30pm on Tuesday 8th December. Light refreshments will be served after the talk. **Attendance is free but you are required to register online here. ** (Registering for the conference does not automatically register you for the public lecture).

Excursion (11am-5:30pm, Wed 9th Dec)

The excursion, on Wednesday 9th December, will be a trip to St Helena Island in Moreton Bay, approximately 6 km from the mouth of the Brisbane river. St Helena was a penal settlement for Queensland’s most hardened prisoners from 1867 to 1932, and is now a National Park. We will travel by bus from UQ to Fort Lytton (leaving UQ at 11am from Chancellor's Place, see map below) and then board the "MV Lady Brisbane" to St Helena Island, where we will explore the remains of the penal settlement on a gentle walk of about 2 hours with an entertaining tour guide. Lunch and afternoon tea will be served and is included in the excursion fee. We anticipate returning to UQ at approximately 5:30pm. Tickets are not included in your registration.

Conference Dinner (6:30-11pm, Thurs 10th Dec)

The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday 10th December, at Stamford Plaza Brisbane. Stamford Plaza Brisbane is located in Brisbane's CBD on the corner of Edward and Margaret streets, and is a short walk from the riverside CityCat terminal. A ticket is included with your registration.
